About Women's Black Hair
Black hair is usually pretty fragile and very sensitive to sun. This is normal though, because everything darker attracts heat. But this means that dark hair needs some extra care. Having actual healthy hair is a myth, since hair is not living. However, your general health affects the appearance of your hear. It is also important for you to take good care of it, in order to keep its texture fine and shiny. You should eat healthy and include lots of vitamins and enough calcium in your diet if you want your hair to grow thick and dense.
If you have brown or dark brown hair, you can get black hair by using a coloring shampoo or semi-permanent dye. These are great options because they don’t hurt the hair. Even if your hair is not naturally black, once you get it to that color, you need to take care of it just like you would with natural black hair. Your hair will be really dark, so extra heat and damage from the sun will come eventually. Although oils might get the dye to fade more quickly, keeping some olive oil in your hair for about 15 to 20 minutes before washing it will hydrate and soothe your damaged hair. However, this kind of treatment should only be done twice or at most three times a month. You wouldn’t want your hair to get too oily either. Black hair is predisposed to getting really dry so it can break easier. A wide-tooth comb will be of great help in detangling hair without breaking it. A brush with really smooth bristles is recommended too. Use hydrating shampoos and of course, conditioner after every wash. Do not use your fingernails for washing your hair, if you don’t want to hurt your scalp and your hair too. Gently rub the shampoo in the hair, massaging your scalp. Constantly massaging your scalp will stimulate the blood circulation, therefore making your hair grow thicker and stronger. If you like styling your hair, you should avoid using anything that contains alcohol. It can really dry and damage your hair. Also, for drying your hair, never rub it with a towel and don’t use a hair drier if possible. If you do need to use the hair drier, you necessarily need a product for thermal protection.
Take good care of your hair using only the best products. You don’t need to spend hundreds of dollars for hair masks and such, but you do need to do your best to help your hair stay as beautiful as it can get. Also, get a hairstyle to go well with the shape of your face and get the hair trimmed periodically.
